I'm back to blogging after taking some time off!

I just experienced a massive  {no mojo} streak -EEEK ! I would go sit at my crafting desk and could just not find any inspiration.......and that was very frustrating! Plus I had other icky "life" things clouding my brain too.......ughh!

So this morning I picked up my stack of Bazzill textured cardstock and looked lovingly over the colors: and these 3 colors just spoke to me today. (Hazel, Twig, and Anchorage) I just love the texture of this paper, it so yummy and ads so much to any creation. I was in the mood to get out of my {comfort zone}and try to kick start some creativity and thought I would try to do something with inchies for a change......I'm not really an inchies kind of gal so this was new to me.

I dug out my Hero Arts design blocks( and thought these 2 worked well together. I was trying to find ribbon that I liked and gave up after discovering that these Basic Grey buttons matched the papers exactly .....(I jumped for joy over this as I almost never find things that go together so well)!

I used my Stampin Up embosslits butterflies for a little extra something! Now I need to dig through my envelope stash to make sure I have one that matches just right.......I'm kind of uber picky about that!

Two Peas is currently having a big Hero Arts sale here- go check it out and scoop up some great deals on your favorite stamps....up to 40% off!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you all have a lovely weekend!

  2. I had the same problem earlier! I'd say you've broken the spell - this is SO lovely, from the beautiful soft colors to your design! The buttons were a fun addition! Your blog header is wonderful, too! Reminds me of Keukenhof Gardens in Holland!

I love the color combo. Where did you get those wonderful buttons? They match perfectly. Can't wait to see you again (in about a month and a half!)
