I started playing with this stamp yesterday and wanted to try adding a few things I don't normally do. These inspirations come from the many talented ladies over at the Flicker Hero arts pool!
I started with a kind of a marbled tan cardstock and and stamped the grass (I call it wheat) using several colors of Ranger ink (caramel and vintage photo). Then I stamped the white flowers and embossed them with white powder. I added a bit of lighty stamped script to the background (inspired by Lin) and proceeded to distress the rest of the card using antique linen and just a wee bit of vintage photo and my Heidi Swapp edge distresser.
I came back and wanted to highlight the heads of the wheat so I grabbed my Copic glitter markers and used the chocolate and sand colors. I finished it off with a bit of sheer copper ribbon and a bit of raffia- torn and fluffed up a bit.
Thanks for stopping by ladies!
