This months contest at the
Hero Arts blog is to create a card using flowers or St. Patty's day for the theme. We are also supposed to think bold bright colors- I though "yeah- right up my alley"!! I love bright bold colors with a usual pop of white or black. This layout was inspired by a card I recently recieved from a dear friend (see below in "fun mail" post). I thought pink would be a nice bold color and grabbed my favorite older HA stamps for this. I'm very pleased at the way it turned out! I used my brush markers to color the dill stamp- and then came back over the image with Versmark so I could emboss it and make it pop a bit more. I stamped the long blossom stamp on the scalloped circles and then again on the card base. Wish me luck on the Hero Arts contest- I keep trying and entering but the talent over there is so incredibly amazing I don't think I stand a chance!
Thanks for stopping by everone!
Anne
