Lumiere paints- WOW!

Yesterday I went and played at my cousins stamp studio and had alot of fun (it's like going to Archivers). She was into painting intricate images with her Lumiere paints! I asked her if I could give them a try and wow- I LOVE them! I had brought along some already stamped and embossed images to try this on- of course I had to pick an image that has teeny tiny details! I used a tiny paint brush to paint on each individual color, and of course managed to smear the paint on almost every one I tried. But I got one good one out of the bunch that did not get ruined- yipeee! I love the sheer and pearlescent colors of these paints! You hardly need to use any paint either.....which means the pains will last a really long time. So I sat down today and finally made a card with my one good paint job....not really thrilled with the card but I just wanted to show you all these amazing paints!  I believe comparable paints are Radiant Pearls and Shimmer paints if you are interested. I know my cousin said she bought alot of the paints on Ebay, some at garage sales, and the rest at Dick Blick art supply stores. I think I  might have to visit Dick Blick some day soon.......love these paints!
The image of the egg tree is by Great Impressions, and the sentiment is by Verve!

Thanks for stopping by!  Anne

I love the look of those paints! They really shimmer as though you have added glitter to them. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us! I think your card is cute!
